vinyl wall decals

I'm still in decorating mode (or at least daydream decorating), so I thought I'd share some more ideas with everyone! Lately I've been kind of excited about vinyl wall decals. They seem to be a great alternative to painting (whether you're just not confident in your painting skills or you're in an apartment where you're not allowed to paint), and they're easily removable (though not reusable). I'm sure you could find them other places, but I've only been looking on Etsy so far. Here are some exciting things!






Be sure to check out the shops these came from: they have nearly any vinyl decal you can imagine! I think these are an awesome temporary decorating solution, whether you just like to redecorate often or you have children who constantly change their minds about what they like. If I can talk Robert into it, we may be getting something neat for the new apartment!

    Great idea! I really like the headboard especially, I don't have one... they're so hard to find. I try to only buy my furniture in second hand stores and when I find one I like it's usually the wrong size and the ones that are the right size are usually ugly. I've seen painted on headboards but it seems scary and possibly disastrous so I haven't done it. But yeah, the decal sounds like a perfect alternative!

    What a coincidence, I just ordered a vinyl sticker for my wall on Etsy! I'll post about it on my blog when I receive them. I had the hardest time choosing one, as so many are just amazing.

    I loooove the headboard! I vote for a cuckoo clock decal, however.

    great selection! I've been admiring wall decals too. I'm renting my apartment, so I can't really do much to my walls, but these are great since they're removable!

    i saw a vinyl decal of a world map that was REALLY neat .. i think i'd put it in an office or even a nursery if i found it again!
